Sorrow of the Heart~

We acknowledge, O Lord, that it is a right and a good thing to miss deeply those whom we love but with whom we cannot be physically present. … Grant us courage 

For God is my witness, how I long for all of you with the affection of Christ Jesus~Philippians 1:8

Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God.

Then the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus~Philippians 4:6-7

He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds~Psalm 147:3 

The Lord is near to those who are discouraged; he saves those who have lost all hope. Good people suffer many troubles, but the Lord saves them from them all~Psalm 34:18-19 

A glad heart makes a cheerful face, but by sorrow of heart the spirit is crushed~Proverbs 15:13 

A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones~Proverbs 17:22 

So also you have sorrow now, but I will see you again, and your hearts will rejoice, and no one will take your joy from you~John 16:22
