Separation of Light and Darkness

First God made heaven and earth 
The earth was without form and void, and darkness was upon the face of the deep; and the Spirit of God was moving over the face of the waters. And God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. And God saw that the light was good; and God separated the light from the darkness. God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And there was evening and there was morning, One day. Genesis 1:1-5

He wraps himself in light as with a garment; he stretches out the heavens like a tent. Psalm 104:2

He spread out a cloud as a covering, and a fire to give light at night. Psalm 105:39
