Leadership ~

“But among you it will be different. Whoever wants to be a leader among you must be your servant.” Matthew 20:26

“A nation without God’s guidance is a nation without order. Happy are those who keep God’s law!” Proverbs 29:18

“When there is moral rot within a nation, its government topples easily; but with honest, sensible leaders there is stability.” Proverbs 28:2

“Without wise leadership, a nation falls; with many counselors, there is safety.” Proverbs 11:14

“Good leaders abhor wrongdoing of all kinds; sound leadership has a moral foundation.” Proverbs 16:12

“If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” 2 Chron. 7:14

Simply let your ‘Yes’ be ‘Yes,’ and your ‘No,’ ‘No’; anything beyond this comes from the evil one. Matthew 5:37

Let them alone: they are blind, and leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both fall into the pit. Matthew 15:14

Neither be ye called masters: for one is your master, Christ. Matthew 23:10

I will give thee understanding, and I will instruct thee in this way, in which thou shalt go: I will fix my eyes upon thee. Psalms 32:8

2 Be shepherds of God’s flock that is under your care, serving as overseers-not because you must, but because you are willing, as God wants you to be; not greedy for money, but eager to serve;

3 not lording it over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock.

4 And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that will never fade away. 1 Peter 5:2-4

3 Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves.

4 Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others.

5 Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus:

6 Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped,

7 but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness.

8 And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death-even death on a cross!  Philippians 2:3-8

5 Young men, in the same way be submissive to those who are older. All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because, “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.”

6 Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time.

7  Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:5-7

27 and whoever wants to be first must be your slave-

28  just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many. Matthew 20:27-28
