What Will I Feed My Children Today?

There was a day…when our income was paid once a month…and by the end of the month, it was very difficult getting creative with meal planning.

This day had come, and I, for the life of me, did not know what we were going to have for our dinner. The children would be hungry soon.

I left the kitchen and decided to think outside in the yard, watching the children play.

My next door neighbor, God Love her…Gladys, she approached me by the fence, and said “My son went fishing, and he brought home more fish then we can eat, would you please take some for your dinner today”?

“Blessed Be the Lord, He has Heard the Voice of My Supplications!

The Lord is My Strength, and my shield; My Heart Trusted in Him, and I am Helped;

Therefore my heart greatly rejoices; And with my song, I will PRAISE HIM”. PSALM 28:6-7

My heart inside was filled with love, knowing, that GOD is sending you a message here, and he answered your question, “What do I feed the Children today”?

I hugged my neighbor, and my heart and eyes were filled with love and joy, how the Lord takes care of us all, each and everyone of us..

I began to prepare the fish, and set the table, when the front door knocked, with someone there.

Lord and Behold, a minister appeared, he was weary and tired from all of his visit’s. I asked him to come in and sit down.

I then gave him a very large glass of water, and then asked him to join us for dinner and prayer. The minister, to his surprise, that I had even asked, agreed!

I then told the minister, that “Our Good Lord, provided us today with fish, and now it was time to “Thank-God for our meal today”. He feeds us and provides for us, and draw us to His table…..
