I know how to live on almost nothing or with everything.

I have learned the secret of contentment in every situation, whether it be a full stomach or hunger, plenty, or want;

for I can do everything God asks me to with the help of Christ Who gives me the strength and power. Philippians 4:11-13

Dear brothers, is your life full of difficulties and temptations?

Then be happy, for when the way is rough, your patience has a chance to grow.

So let it grow, and don’t try to squirm out of your problems.

For when your patience is finally in full bloom, then you will be ready for anything; strong in character, full and complete. James 1:2-4

We are saved by trusting.

And trusting means looking forward to getting something we don’t yet have – for a man who already has something doesn’t need to hope and trust that he will get it.

But if we must keep trusting God for something that hasn’t happened yet, it teaches us to wait patiently and confidently. Romans 8:24-25

And we know that all that happens to us is working for our good if we love God and are fitting into His plans. Romans 8:28
